In Italy we started seeing this kind of thing from poco with voice assistants like Alexa from Amazon e Google Home, but Xiaomi? Unfortunately, it has not yet entered the European Union market but we are sure that the speakers of the Chinese giant will soon be part of our house. Precisely Xiaomi yesterday he inserted the new in his boundless catalog XiaoAi Speaker HD, the evolution of the previous mini version.
XiaoAi Speaker HD: the future alternative to Alexa and Google Home
Just yesterday Xiaomi has entered, albeit not yet announced, the new XiaoAi Speaker HD, the smart speaker or voice assistant if you prefer, which warns the companies mentioned above. The measures they are 150 x 150 x 230 mm and the colors available are dark gray and light gray.
There are four control buttons at the top of the speaker XiaoAi Speaker HD: the button to turn on, the buttons to raise and lower the volume of the speaker and the one dedicated to the playback / pause of the music. All around this area there are i 6 microphones which will be used to communicate with the assistant.
According to the information provided by the official website of Xiaomi, XiaoAi Speaker HD in addition to these 4 speakers there is also a woofer of large caliber, which only this has a diameter of 104 mm. In addition, the speaker supports dynamic compensation DSP (which allows a better audio output), the voice control on the whole house e other basic functions like music reproduction or general assistance.
XiaoAi Speaker HD supports 4.1 and 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi Bluetooth connections. According to information released from the official website the price of this intelligent speaker is of 599 yuan, 76 € at current exchange rate. Unfortunately, the product has only been included in the catalog and we do not know when it will be launched.
The inclusion of this new product, however, does not happen by chance since just two days ago Cui Baoqiu, vice president of Xiaomi cloud platform and AI department, revealed that the voice assistant XiaoAi (for which it is also provided for one English version) has exceeded the 100 million activations.
