Last month, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi launched three new smartphones, the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro and 12X. But apparently the fourth model of the Xiaomi 12 family has now appeared.
Xiaomi 12 Lite certified on CEE: ever closer presentation
In fact, today, according to new sources, the Xiaomi Mi 12 Lite would have obtained the EEC (European Economic Community) certification, with its model number which would be 2203129G.
It is not difficult to understand from the denomination that the Xiaomi 12 Lite is the only mid-range model of the Mi 12 series, the smartphone could also be launched in China under the name of Xiaomi 12 Youth Edition.
Previously, after the release of the new series, Xiaomi has always launched light and thin devices for the youngest. We refer to models such as the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G etc. So, also this time, the Xiaomi 12 Lite could continue with the same main characteristics of subtlety and lightness of the previous generations.
In terms of specifications, however, the Xiaomi 12 Lite could be equipped with a mid-range chip. Recall that the previous generation, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Youth Edition, was equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G chip, while the Mi 10 Youth Edition was equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip.
Furthermore, given that we are dealing with a mid-range smartphone it means that the price of the Mi 12 Lite will be the lowest of the Mi 12 series family, with the price of the smartphone that could be between 2000 and 2500 yuan (between 280 and 350 euros) in China.
In any case, now we just have to wait for further official info or leaks that could leak in the following days.
