Xiaomi 13Ultra, the new camera-phone from Xiaomi, has done its debut last month in global version and has already won the hearts of fans of photography. Like every year, the "ultra" model remains a dream for those who don't have the possibility to spend over 1500 € for a smartphone out of the ordinary but with a prohibitive price.

Xiaomi 13Ultra it has the characteristics of a true camera-phone
Il Xiaomi 13Ultra it is an amazing device that comes with a 6,7″ WQHD+ AMOLED display, with an f120Hz refresh rate, which ensures smooth viewing. The peak brightness reaches 2600 nits, providing an exceptional visual experience, and it also supports Dolby Vision for better color rendition and contrast.
The power of the device is guaranteed by the processor Snapdragon 8 Gen2which ensures high performance. Accompanied by 12 GB of RAM LPDDR5X, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra offers seamless multitasking and fast application execution. It also comes with 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, providing ample space for you to keep your photos, videos and other content.
The USB-C port supports 3.2 Gen 1 interface and DisplayPort, allowing you to connect the device to external displays up to 4K 60Hz. This feature expands the possibilities of using the device, for example for viewing multimedia content on a larger screen.
However, the real strength of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra lies in its exceptional photographic ability, developed in collaboration with Leica. The main camera is equipped with a Sony IMX989 sensor from 50 megapixels large format (1 inch), combined with a 23 mm lens. This combination allows you to take full advantage of the sensor without any cropping, capturing sharp and bright details. Additionally, the lens aperture is variable, allowing it to accommodate different lighting conditions, and the camera can shoot 50-megapixel photos in both RAW and Ultra RAW formats, which offers a wider dynamic range.
The camera ultra wide angle is managed by a Sony IMX858 sensor 50-megapixel camera, with an equivalent focal length of 12mm and an aperture of f/1.8. In addition, it offers the possibility of taking macro photos with autofocus, allowing you to capture close-up details clearly and precisely.
Il telephoto is entrusted to another Sony IMX858 sensor from 50 megapixels, with a 75 mm lens, an aperture of f/1.8 and mechanical stabilization. This combination allows you to take pictures at greater distances while maintaining high image quality and minimizing the risk of blur.
The front camera is a classic 32 megapixel camera, but offers advanced features such as night mode and HDR, which improve the quality of photos in different light conditions. It also supports video recording with Dolby Vision up to 1080p at 30p, ensuring high quality video capture.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra drops in price
As we anticipated in the introduction, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has suffered a sharp decline and if until a few months ago it was unthinkable to buy it less than € 1000, now it is available for € 861 on this page. An important reduction that places it in the same price range as the "normal" top of the range.
Of course we are referring to Chinese version a which the Global ROM is installed before shipping. Global software supports Google Mobile Service and Google Play Store installed and OTA update. Considering that the difference with the Chinese version is about only €60 more, we advise EU users to prefer this version to save themselves any problems and take advantage of the official guarantee.
