Comes the Xiaomi Fengmi WEMAX Cinema Edition, the cinema in your home!

As I think most of you know, Xiaomi is not new in the creation of entertainment products, going from both economic and very expensive projectors, that soundbar and much more. Well, today the Chinese company has decided to expand its portfolio of devices for video playback with a new projector through the sub-brand Fengmi Technology, or those who have also produced the popular projector Mijia laser.

The new device is called Fengmi WEMAX Cinema Edition, it is provided a laser with a very high power of 1688 lumens ANSI, this means that you can also keep the curtains wide open during the day and still be able to enjoy the high quality reproduced, both at 1080p at the hardware level, that 4K thanks to the upscaling.

The projector lens is also capable of focusing the image from very short distances. For example, you can place the projector only 5cm away to create an 80-inch screen, up to the immense size of 150 ″ if placed 50 centimeters from the wall. All this is possible thanks to the incredibly high throw ratio of 0,233: 1, which of course will save you space and money, as it saves you from creating additional wiring.

What we can call "laser TV" has a native contrast ratio of 3000: 1, which is comparable to that of a cinema and supports HDR video, allowing even dark details to be clearly visible. Using Guangfeng Optoelectronics' new X-ray fluorescence visualization technology from Guangfeng Optoelectronics, the projector is able to achieve a color range of 3.0% on NTSC, an almost perfect reproduction of colors, especially of natural fonts and colors.

The Fengmi WEMAX Cinema Edition has a square shape and is only available in black ocher. The projector has the same MIUI Home Entertainment system as the Xiaomi TV and supports multi-platform video playback, i.e. Youtube, Vimeo etc ..

Finally, the price of the Fengmi WEMAX Cinema Edition makes it a toy for the few. In fact, you can buy it for 16999 yuan, which translated into euros is about € 2136. A little too many, don't you think?
