Although unfortunately many are not able to afford them, the projectors (the quality ones) are probably the technological "toy" that we all have always dreamed of owning. Xiaomi, taking care of everything related to electronics, obviously has several options on the market, what we will see today is "unfortunately" one of the most expensive but the price is justified by the incredible hardware that equips, we are talking about the Xiaomi Mijia Laser Projector 4k.
So let's start with the components of this projector. The Mijia Laser Projector 4k is capable of playing 4K video natively, so it's not 1080p upscaled to 4K. This means better overall definition and more detail for a screen that can be up to 150 inches diagonal. Yes, you read that right, you practically have a home cinema, with a contrast of 3000: 1 and support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology for more vivid and rich colors, high brightness and high contrast.
Xiaomi Mijia Laser Projector 4k presented: 4K true at affordable prices
The Mijia Laser Projector 4k adopts a laser with a brightness of 1500 ANSI and ALPD3.0 fluorescence technology produced by Guanfeng Optoelectronics, this allows to have a quantity of red light with a maximum of 16-18%, therefore in line with the standards international. Thanks to ultra short throw technology, the projector is then able to create 100-inch screens with a distance of only 24 centimeters from the desired surface, taking up less space than a normal projector.
Finally, the Mijia Laser Projector 4k has a high-quality dual-frequency speaker system for a more immersive stereo effect, although most buyers will most likely opt for a dedicated sound system.
From the software point of view instead, we have the support for the Xiaomi artificial intelligence assistant which is activated by pressing the voice button directly on the remote control. There is of course the MIUI operating system like the other Xiaomi TVs, which includes an immense portfolio of videos, along with the famous PatchWall system for a simpler and more interactive user experience. In addition, for those already using the Xiaomi AI assistant, XiaoAI, (hence the Chinese), it will be possible to control the projector remotely.
Those who follow us for a while 'will have noticed that the Xiaomi Mijia Laser Projector 4k is not a completely new product in itself, a few months ago we had indeed seen the Xiaomi Fengmi Cinema Edition with a very similar design but had a native resolution of 1080p. The interesting fact is that the new projector is more "cheap" to 9999 Yuan (1290 €), against the 16999 Yuan (2190 €) of the predecessor.
hello, the native 4k when it will be available in Italy?
Cheap a horn…. It stands at 2000 € like the old hahaha
on the day of the launch in China they offered it to 1290… Only for 24 hours. Wish they did it here too.
but where can you buy it? Can someone tell me .. or alternatively another native 4k ultra short-throw projector at a maximum price of 2500 euros? thanks to those who will be able to answer me perhaps with personal experience to my email [email protected]
