Xiaomi Mi 11 Global vs China: are they really different? Yes, here's what changes | Video

There is a real difference between Xiaomi Mi 11 in Global version and the same device in Chinese version? This is the question that many of us were wondering at the time of presentation of MIUI 12.5 for Europe. As we know, the debut of this new interface will not see the presence of many highly appreciated Chinese features such as MIUI +. It is not certain that in the future they will not arrive for us too, of course, but the fact is that in the coming months we will not use them. But back to the bomb: are there differences between the twins? Second Frankie Tech yes and they are mainly differences in terms of performances. Let's go see the comparison that the YouTuber made a few days ago.

Is Xiaomi Mi 11 Global better or worse than Xiaomi Mi 11 China? This video will answer the question we've been asking ourselves for days

An interesting video of Frankie Herrera highlights what are the differences between Xiaomi Mi 11 Global and China. The lucky YouTuber is in possession of both devices and given the avalanche of negative feedback we are receiving after the announcement of MIUI 12.5, it seemed right to address this issue. A few days ago, on the occasion of the debut of the smartphone, we were very impressed with respect to the figures that the brand has communicated regarding the optimization of MIUI on this smartphone. In short: the Chinese variant is more optimized than the Global. But since numbers are just numbers, why not see how REALLY the two devices behave?

The platform that Frankie Herrera used for the benchmark is that of AnTuTu, the most famous and perhaps the most complete. They were done in total four cycles to see how the performance, over time, changed and how the temperature of the two devices increased following heavy use. It probably won't surprise us to see that the global model has lower scores (albeit of poco) compared to the Chinese model.

In all four tests the global score is lower, there is nothing to do. Both smartphones had the most updated version of the respective MIUI. This led to better AnTuTu scores over 4 benchmark rounds for the "Chinese" Mi 11, although during the test the latter showed a rise in temperature to incandescent levels (even exceeding 50 °).

But what do we mean by this? Simple: the only one difference between the two are Google services or GMS which are clearly present only on the Global model. If this is really the only real difference, then it means that it is because of them that the Mi 11 Global does not reach the same scores as the China. In addition to this, we can deduce that theoptimization of the Chinese MIUI is different from that of the MIUI we know. A conclusion that perhaps for many of you can be taken for granted, but which in reality is not.
