The latest news leaked in the last few hours concerns the cataloging on the e-commerce site jd.com, at a price of 9999 Yuan. The figure accompanying the smartphone is obviously incorrect, but it could mean that the launch of the device is imminent. According to the source, the recording was done by third parties and could therefore just be a way to arouse excitement among all Xiaomi fans.
Mi 5C had already been spotted some time ago on Taoboa with a virtual card of 999 Yuan (about 135 euros) and this could explain Jingdong's mistake. The price indicated by Taoboa seems quite correct given the device specifications released in recent weeks. Recently, renderings have also appeared on the web that show the elegant design of the device, characterized by very narrow bezels barely visible around the display. According to rumors, the smartphone would mount a processor developed by Xiaomi itself, called Pinecone, supported by 64 Gb of ROM and 3 Gb of RAM. Other noteworthy features of the device include the 12 Mpx rear camera, the 8 Mpx front camera, the 5,5 ″ display with 2.5D curved glass and the presence on board of MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow.
