The presence of the Snapdragon 835 inside Mi 6 is now taken for granted. The highly anticipated Xiaomi terminal will be, except for sensational twists, the first Chinese smartphone to adopt the chipset in question. The presentation of the device is expected for the next few weeks and the rumors do not seem to subside, causing confusion among fans. According to one of the most recent rumors, the first game of 835 would be destined for Samsung, about to launch Galaxy S8, thus not leaving a sufficiently large supply to allow the use of the chip by other brands.
To remedy the problem, Xiaomi could decide to use an underclocked version of the chipset, thus avoiding any slowdown imposed by Samsung. In addition to the Galaxy and the Mi 6, LG G6 should also adopt the SoC medium, but precisely because of Samsung's alleged monopoly on the first batch of Qualcomm's product, the chipset currently associated with the LG device is the Snapdragon 821. It would not be the first. time that Xiaomi adopts a less performing version of a Qualcomm component: in the past the company decided to use the Snapdragon 820 with a lower clock speed for the Mi 5.
