A couple of days ago, we reported the presentation of a new, somewhat extravagant variant of the medium / high range Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Today, thanks to the first images coming from China, we can give you a tour of everything the happy buyers of this special edition will find in the packaging.
So let's start by specifying that the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Brown Bear Edition arrives with completely different packaging than the normal version. This is because in addition to the smartphone you will also receive other accessories that we will now discover together.

The package is presented on the outside with the effigy of the teddy bear, which if you use the LINE application you will probably already know as it is one of the mascots of the app. Inside we find the box with the various manuals and the pin for removing the SIMs with the inscription "SUPER MI SUPER BROWN", as well as stickers with bears in different positions and a certificate attesting to their originality.
But it does not end here, as you can see in the image below we also have a custom black cover with the Brown Bear in white that is having fun and a very nice power bank with a capacity of 10000mAh.
As you may have noticed, we finally left the beautiful Mi 9 SE in purple with the teddy bear's face at the bottom of the back cover. While in front we will have different software customizations, both as regards the unlock screen and the whole theme of the device.
As if that were not enough, Xiaomi has also added some AI to ensure that when you ask the Mi 9 SE Brown Bear Edition something like "Brown Bear, do you like me?" Or "Brown Bear, what are you doing?", The lock screen will come alive to answer the question.
As for all other smartphone specifications, they remain unchanged. We therefore find an 5,97 ″ Samsung AMOLED screen, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The cameras are instead 48MP + 8MP + 13MP behind, with the front having a resolution of 20MP. Finally, the smartphone equips an 3070mAh battery and runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Brown Bear Edition will go on sale in China on April 9 at the figure of 2499 Yuan, or about 330 €. In comparison, the basic Mi 9 SE costs "only" 1999 Yuan, or € 265, so the price difference is quite substantial.
