A few days ago, one of the Xiaomi executives announced the arrival of a substantial update for the Mi Band 2, announcing that it would finally support the display of Chinese characters. But apparently this "big update" has an even more succulent novelty in store: the Caller ID.
In fact, a new function will be implemented soon to see, when new messages or calls are received, the sender's number. If this is in the address book, the registered name will be displayed.
Indeed, many have always wondered why the display was not used properly at least for notification functions. But with great enthusiasm we learn that the development of new notifications is underway and the Mi Band 2 is an "open yard" for which we can still expect interesting news.
At the time of writing, the most recent update is 2.2.7 for the app and 1.0.82 for the firmware which, however, despite having added some animations from the notification icons, has not yet made this new feature. We are waiting.
But is it difficult to set a timer? It would be a feuture killer!
I agree, a simple thing, it would be enough for me to be able to see the seconds, so take the time.
I hope in another.
Nice to have added the date, in my opinion indispensable, but the character of the first screen is different.
It would be handy to have the time on the first screen and the date on the second.
