As we have known for about a week, 11 June, or tomorrow, the next generation fitness band, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4, will be presented in Beijing. This generally does not mean that the product is also introduced in our country immediately afterwards, but this is not the case this time.
Today's news is in fact that the 4 Mi Band will be officially presented the June 12 in Italy, then the next day. If you have been paying attention in recent days you will also know that the 12 will also see the formalization of the long-awaited Xiaomi Mi 9T, or the global version of Redmi K20.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4: 12 June will be presented in Italy
The event in which we will see both the new Xiaomi Mi Band 4 and the Xiaomi Mi 9T will take place in three locations simultaneously, namely in Milan, Madrid and Paris.
As we have learned in this post, the next Mi Band 4 will have a display the 39,9% larger than the previous version and with over 16 thousand colors. It will be possible to create customized screens and even set a background image to taste.
In addition to the new color display, on the new fitness band we expect to find a heartbeat sensor, 5.0-type Bluetooth connectivity to be able to synchronize with the smartphone without problems, a battery with a capacity of 135mAh and a range similar to that of the Mi Band 3, if not better. Furthermore, rumors that have not yet been confirmed suggest the presence of a second version with an integrated NFC module that could be presented in the future. This technology would make electronic payments possible through the Mi Band, even if up until now the feature has been reserved for the Chinese market.
Now tell us your opinion. What do you think of the features of the Mi Band 4 known to date? Do you think you would buy it if it cost as much as the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 or a little more? Let us know in the comments section below!
I write the same thing I wrote in the comments of the post by Emanuele Lafulla of 4 June hoping that someone will answer me:
Maybe I lose a few pieces about bureaucracy, commercial agreements, Google licenses or whatever, I just don't understand why they don't enable NFC to pay. If it came out around the 40 euros, with NFC and color screen, Google pay enabled and various contactless (public transport subscription or work badge) would really be a killer band. Do you think we'll ever see it?
