Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will not come out of China, so we will not see it in the Global version. This is the only thing we need to know. Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 receives the Bluetooth SIG certification: however, this does not mean that it will be launched by us! Let's get it clear once and for all.
Bluetooth SIG certification does not mean that a smartphone will be launched in Europe. Consequently, the certification of Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 by the same body does not refer to an upcoming Global presentation. Indeed, quite the opposite. As already stated by the company's PR Agatha Tang, Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will not arrive in our market. At least it won't in the near or immediate future.
As we can see from the screenshot above, the smartphone in question was certified by the body this morning Bluetooth SIG. The model number returns with the original, that is 2106118C. But as you can see (and without a shadow of a doubt), the last letter of this code is a C. This means that the Mi MIX 4 is only intended for China! Otherwise we would have seen one letter G instead of C. This tendency to claim that a Bluetooth SIG certified smartphone is destined for the Global market derives only from the fact that this is in fact a certification that comes in English.
However, it doesn't take too long to understand that it is one certification globally (not intended as Global but worldwide) which states that a particular smartphone is carrying a Bluetooth module.
I thought it had been made clear that this new mobile was not called Mi Mix 4 but only Mix 4…. or am I wrong ???
