Let's start by explaining the Variable Refresh Rate technology, this means that we have a dynamic frequency update that can vary continuously and seamlessly. In addition, a display that supports a variable refresh rate usually supports a specific "range" of refresh rates (eg 30 Hertz to 144 Hertz). As for ALLM technology, the Automatic Low Latency Mode allows you to automatically set the ideal latency allowing for a smoother display and interactivity, without delays and without interruptions. The technology comes in handy with consoles or a PC and is used to send a signal to the display which will automatically go into a low latency mode for a better gaming experience.
But the Chinese leakster did not stop there, he also revealed that the TV will have a panel with 4K 120Hz MEMC, 4K 120Hz VRR and 4K 120Hz input signal and will adopt HDMI ports to version 2.1. We will also find Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos technologies, a quad-core chip with Cortex A73 and we will be given a metal remote control with NFC functionality.
What can I say, the Xiaomi Mi TV Master Series seems to equip several advanced features, difficult to find even on high-end products. The price is obviously destined to rise, but as we learned yesterdayit will still be very competitive.
