The product has improved design, installation method and functionality, therefore it can be considered an upgrade compared to previous versions. The Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S will be sold in China on the Xiaomi Mall at the initial special price of 899 yuan (120 euros).

Compared with its predecessors such as the Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer, the Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S adopts an ultra-thin body design and supports hidden installation. In fact, after the drying rod is withdrawn, can be completely hidden within the ceilingwithout blocking sunlight or outside view. The thickness of the rod is only 9,9 cm when it is stored, which is nearly 30% thinner than the previous generation.
Going into detail, the Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S integrates a series of six aluminum alloy drying rods, together with 49 SUS304 steel ropes, which they can bear 35kg, and comes with 32 different sized clothing clips. There are 4 drying rods and 4 horizontal wire ropes. Each rod has 38 holes for hanging hangers and the length of the drying rods can be adjusted telescopically.
What's more, the smart drying rack supports customized lifting height and memory function, and it can stop at a fixed height every time it is triggered, which is more convenient.
The Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S also has a own 20 W LED lighting, which supports dimming. Users can set the brightness according to their needs. If placed outside it can also replace the balcony lights.
Finally, as regards the software, the Smart Clothes Dryer 1S is connected to the Xiaomi ecosystem, so that it can work together with other products such as the washing machine and supports control through smart speakers with XiaoAI's virtual assistant.
