The 15image Xiaomi, as anticipated here GizChina.it, announced its brand-new MiPad tablet, a device that uses the same iPad's Retinal Display 2 but at a price around the 177 Euro.

The tablet, as anticipated, boasts a diagonal 7,9 inch IPS display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution, equipped with NVIDIA Tegra K1 quad-core processor with 2,2 GHZ clock, 2GB RAM, mass storage choice from 16GB up to a maximum of 64GB with microSD expansion. The rear camera is from 8 mega-pixels and the battery has an 6700 mAh capability.
The device supports the 802.11ac dual band WiFi protocol and is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0. The operating system version is the MIUI Pad based on Android 4.4.2.
