However, according to the Chinese sources of the sector, it seems that the smartphone has already appeared in the first benchmarks, in particular on Geekbench. Based on what was revealed by Chinese colleagues, Xiaomi MIX 5 should be called with a factory name 2203121C. As we know, the last letter of the name identifies the corresponding market. For the moment, therefore, we do not know if Xiaomi MIX 5 will also be Global: the letter C in fact it indicates only the Chinese market. When will we find written 2203121G then it will be the confirmation that the device will arrive to us (or to India, as often happens). But that said, the Geekbench benchmark portal revealed the first features of the smartphone in question.
According to other information, the codename of the device should be Thor. The appearance of Xiaomi MIX 5 in the Geekbench database confirms that it is equipped with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 with Adreno GPU 730 high performance. The smartphone has 12 GB of RAM and runs on Android 12 OS with skin MIUI 13. The smartphone scored 1257 points in single-thread mode and 3456 points in multi-core tests: these scores are decidedly good, even if they are not the best ever.
According to rumors, the smartphone will come a main camera from 50 megapixel with optical image stabilization (IMX707), one module of 48 megapixel with 5x optical zoom and an ultra wide angle camera from 50 megapixel. A configuration very similar to that of Xiaomi 12 Pro in essence.
