The different companies that collaborate with Xiaomi seem to be in a phase "lock-mania". Today, in fact, another smart lock was presented on the crowdfunding platform of the Chinese giant. This time created by the OJJ brand and called the X1 Smart Door Lock.
The Xiaomi OJJ Smart Door Lock X1 is one of the most economical smart locks ever launched on the Xiaomi website, but it does not lack functionality. We have in fact several technologies for unlocking the lock such as the fingerprint sensor, the Bluetooth module, PIN numbers keypad and an always excellent but not too smart steel key.

Let's start with the fingerprint reader located on the handle itself, which is therefore easy to reach and speeds up the entire unlocking process. The sensor, besides being of high quality, is then also assisted by algorithms that improve the recognition of fingerprints over time, making it faster and faster.
As for the unlock via Bluetooth, it works in conjunction with the Mijia application (the one used for many Xiaomi accessories). Once configured, all you have to do is bring the smartphone close to the handle to have an instant unlock without having to recognize the impression or something else.
For those who are more old-fashioned, the numeric keypad remains to enter a PIN, but the most interesting function is that which sends you to friends or relatives, an SMS with a PIN that can only be used once. Does your friend have to bring back something you have given him but you are not at home? Send the text message and it will be able to enter without problems.
In case of "emergency" there is finally a hidden lock that allows you to use a normal key, so you can immediately run to change the batteries and not run through such an ugly experience, at least for next 10 months.
