Xiaomi has its first mechanical keyboard

Last week, from its crowdfunding platform, Xiaomi announced the imminent marketing of a high-quality mechanical keyboard at a competitive price.

The Xiaomi keyboard at the moment does not yet have an official name but all the features have already been revealed. It includes 87 keys enclosed in the modest dimensions of 358mm x 128mm x 31.6mm and a weight of 940g.

The structure consists of six levels and a body made with the aluminum alloy H32, with precious finishes and an over-average resistance.

Great care was devoted to the ergonomics of the device thanks to the perfect inclination of 6°, guarantees comfort for hands and wrists even after several hours of use. The keys have been made with a combination of translucent polycarbonate and white ABS resin and can be easily replaced to customize the keyboard at will. Characters are imprinted with a special process that guarantees good wear resistance.

The switches that control the individual keys are guaranteed for 50 million presses, making it the ideal keyboard for gaming. The STMicroelectronic chip that controls all operations is a 32bit ARM with a refresh of 1000MHz and a response delay of 1ms it is also able to recognize without errors the simultaneous pressing of 11 keys.

Inside the keyboard incorporates 3528 LEDs and well 6 brightness levels adjustable as well as the color that ranges from white to orange.

The Xiaomi mechanical keyboard is already pre-orderable on some online stores.
