Xiaomi is a smartphone company that can be interpreted in two distinct ways. The strange thing is that they are a bit conflicting:
- The first is that Xiaomi is a company that brings innovation from the point of view of technology to its smartphones;
- The second is that Xiaomi expects a technology to be ready for the mass market and only after it introduces its smartphones (see, for example, the fingerprint sensor).
Starting from this assumption, we would like to point out that recently rumors have emerged about which Xiaomi would be intent on, starting with the next generation of smartphones, to introduce Force Touch technology.
For those who do not know, it was made famous by Apple that initially implemented it on the Apple Watch and almost the entire line of MacBook and then also on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. It is essentially an additional layer between display and glass that allows the system to understand the degree of pressure that we apply with our tap.
The implementation of this technology on Xiaomi smartphones is not something that has come to an end in this period. As surely you will know, it is Xiaomi Mi4c It is equipped with Side Touch technology: it is made possible thanks to the controller Synaptics ClearPad S3708, which is also able to support Force Touch technology (in Synaptics they call it Clear Force).
Combining all this information is clear that Xiaomi's ability to implement this technology on the next smartphone is very lively. However, at the moment we have no official information about this.
