As we all know, Xiaomi began its journey in the vast world of electronics with a smartphone (Mi 1) which, for those times, was considered a top of the range in all respects. However, with the increase in success / notoriety in the "global" market, it has also expanded its range of action, aiming no longer only at smartphones (and MIUI) but by designing and producing a whole other repertoire of products of every genre, including wearables, power banks, various accessories and, soon, even a drone | The 25 May will be the Day of the Xiaomi Mi Drone |.
By staying at the end of last year, Xiaomi presented an indispensable product for those who are always in the car (or any other motor vehicle powered by an 12V socket) and need the smartphone always loaded. This device was called Xiaomi Roidmi, a small battery charger to be connected to the 12V socket of the car with two USB outputs with which to simultaneously recharge as many devices but not only that, it had another accessory function, that is it also acted as an FM transmitter | Xiaomi Roidmi: car battery charger with FM radio to 10 euro |. If you had found this small accessory so interesting to buy one, then you will be pleased to hear that the second generation is coming and its name is Xiaomi Roidmi 2s.
The basic principle of this gadget remains unchanged, which is to provide two USB outputs to recharge / power electronic devices and transmit your music / calls via FM frequency to your stereo system by connecting your smartphone to the Roidmi via bluetooth connection. However, this new generation brings with it new features and a substantial improvement over the previous ones.
The first novelty of this Roidmi 2s is the support for fast charging but not only, in fact by connecting two devices the output amperage will also increase (of course based on the values supported by the connected device) and more specifically with a single device you have a 'output of 5V e 2,4A while with two devices you get to 5V and 3,8A, with an energy conversion of the 95%!
Another essential novelty is the presence of a Built-in microphone which greatly simplifies the operation of answering a call by simply shaking the smartphone and dialoging through the Roemmi 2s microphone.
Novelties continue with the support navigation broadcast which, when activated, automatically reduces the volume of the music to give greater importance to the driving directions so as to be able to actually lead you to the chosen place without being distracted by the excessive volume of the mucus.
Finally, the RGB LED lighting management system has been enhanced with the support of a new feature connected to it, namely battery voltage monitoring of your vehicle. In fact, Roidmi 2s will signal you when your battery has a low voltage red light and simultaneously notifies you of this on your smartphone.
The automatic tuning of the radio frequency with the best signal is also enhanced with the addition of an intelligent noise reduction / noise signal FM system. In addition, compatibility with Android and iOS devices, classic 12V plug-in (see photo), and bluetooth switch from 4.0 to 4.2, much more efficient. Also unchanged are the materials used and all eight protection systems, which for such a device are very indispensable.
