A new smartphone Xiaomi was spotted on Geekbench under the codename Lana. It is a mysterious model, which could be the next top of the range from the Chinese brand, equipped with high-level features.

According to the data emerging from the benchmark site, the Xiaomi Lana features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the latest flagship SoC from the American company, which promises exceptional performance and support for 5G. The chip is flanked by well 16 GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system, the latest version of the green robot.
The smartphone got a score of 2336 points in the single-core test and 6837 points in the multi-core test, proving to be a real monster of power. However, no other details are yet known about the technical specifications of this device, such as the size and resolution of the screen, the battery capacity or the photographic sector.
The only clue that could reveal the identity of the Xiaomi Suiren is its code name, which derives from Chinese mythology. Lana is in fact the name of one of the three legendary rulers who ruled ancient China, known as the ancestor of fire and the inventor of cooking food.
This might lead one to think that the Xiaomi Suiren is a model from the MIX series, Xiaomi's line of innovative and experimental smartphones, which stands out for its futuristic design and cutting-edge technological solutions. In particular, the Suiren could be the successor to the Xiaomi MIX 4, the first smartphone of the brand to have a front camera under the screen, a technology that allows you to eliminate the notch or hole and have a full-screen display.
The Xiaomi MIX 4 was launched in 2021 and has not had a sequel since then. The Xiaomi Lana could therefore be the long-awaited one Xiaomi MIX 5, which could further improve the quality of the camera under the screen and offer other interesting new features.
Obviously, these are only hypotheses and there are no official confirmations from Xiaomi. Lana could also be another smartphone, perhaps belonging to the 14 series, which should see the arrival of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the most advanced model of the family.
