For several days we have been talking about a hypothetical Xiaomi branded smartphone that would equip a display with a 120Hz refresh rate. But to date we still have no data to confirm the name of the device.
Xiaomi "Super Large Cup" arriving in the coming months, what is it?
Well, this mystery is destined to remain, even if today a famous Chinese leakster has just revealed some further details to us. The leak comes in fact from the usual Digital Chat Station which on the social Weibo (the Chinese Twitter) said that "From March Xiaomi has been working on the creation of a new flagship powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, which will equip four cameras, a curved screen. AMOLED type and a ceramic body ".
The phantom smartphone with the specifications listed above would be what they call a "Super Large Cup" in China. To be clear, like when we go to McDonald's, there are glasses of different sizes: small, medium and large. In the Asian country, as well as in America, they also have the "Super Large" size, which is the largest of all.
But what does McDonald's have to do with Xiaomi? Well, the name "Super Large Cup" referring to a smartphone serves to make it clear that it is the most premium device of all. So also compared to the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro presented in February.
Xiaomi founder and president and CEO of Xiaomi Group, Lei Jun, had anticipated the arrival of such a device at the press conference of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition which was instead called "Small Cup".
Another teaser had also arrived from the former Redmi product director, Wang Teng, who had anticipated the arrival of a new device to Xiaomi fans within a month or poco more, so we can assume the arrival of this Xiaomi “Super Large Cup” in July or August.
Finally, as regards prices, with the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro which costs 4999 yuan (630 €) in China, this even more premium smartphone would cost over 5000 Yuan (630 €).
