If on the one hand Xiaomi has achieved its goal in the smartphone market, which is to be the number one brand in terms of sales, surpassing giants such as Apple and Samsung, the road to success in the wearable sector is perhaps still long. Or maybe not, because Lei Jun's company has already launched its smartwatch proposals and has already received considerable acclaim, albeit the pure concept of smartwatch and sportwatch poco they are suitable for the devices of the Asian brand.
In fact, the results in the field of receiving notifications are poor to mention some shortcomings, but a recent certification suggests that Xiaomi is working on the release of a new smart wearable, indeed two that respond to the name of Xiaomi Watch S and Watch S Active. The name of the latter, moreover, evokes the fourth generation of smartwatches that Samsung has recently placed on the market, with many variants (well 8) and just this Xiaomi could step on its feet.
But let's start from the basics, as the signaling of the new certification comes from dear Mukul Sharma, who brings to our attention that Xiaomi has just registered the Xiaomi Watch S brand, referring to two smartwatches, precisely with a second variant called Watch S Active which could refer to the sportier use of the wearable.

Unfortunately, nothing emerges from the certifications, neither design nor technical specifications, but voices very close to the Lei Jun brand suggest that the two new wearables, Xiaomi Watch S and Watch S Active will have characteristics and functions very similar to Samsung's Galaxy Watch Active 4, just released, thus also implying the fact that a new proprietary OS based on WearOS could debut on Xiaomi's new wearables.
A news that is unbelievable if it turns out to be true, as it would also mark the arrival of fully functional NFC functionality on a Xiaomi wearable device. Nothing is mentioned instead about the design, which theoretically could always be inspired by Samsung's rival, also offering a crown with associated functions.
Of course these are only unofficial guesses and indiscretions, but we will closely follow the story and related developments, because we are sure that Xiaomi will take the right path also in this market, amazing its fans and new users (few) who have not yet heard about the magic of this company.
