The company has also recently suffered a major crisis, recording a very low number of orders about the Helio X20 and Helio X30 processors, reaching perhaps the lowest value obtained in the last three years. But this did not intimidate the company that recently presented one new CPU, the Helio P60 that is ready to debut on the Oppo R15 smartphone on 1 day apile.
Considering that the company Oppo is not really naive in terms of sales, in fact it is the second brand in terms of volumes in China, the choice to bring on its device the processor MediaTek could reveal that the chipset maker could have hit the mark this time, so much so that Oppo plans to include future Soc MediaTek in the R series of its devices.
But what does this have to do with all this Xiaomi? Well Lei Jun's OEM has sniffed the deal and Xiaomi has always been the only one to know how to optimize MediaTek processors, just think of the resounding success of the Redmi Note 4. Helio P60 uses a TSMC process to 12nm, structure Cortex A73 and GPU G72, translating into high performance and deep optimization in gaming.

And Xiaomi could therefore choose this CPU in view of price increases and continued demand from other manufacturers about the processors provided by Qualcomm. In fact it seems that XIAOMI XIAOMI smartphone will be powered by the Helio P2018 / P60 processor from the second quarter of the year, but also Vivo and Meizu will propose a terminal from the heart MediaTek.
