During the last month we have seen Xiaomi engaged in the presentation of two new smartphones belonging to the Redmi series (one of which is a “flagship”), while a third device would be in development | I found a new Xiaomi device, probably Redmi 4 |. However, this is not all, as there is also another device that is expected to appear very soon and that has been heard about in recent times. The smartphone in question is the second generation of the Mi Note and today we will talk about it again, in particular about one of its variants.
During the last day, in fact, an alleged screenshot representing the system info of this smartphone that provides us with some very important data was leaked unofficially. However, before continuing we want to clarify that since it is an unofficial source it would be better to take everything very lightly, as it could also be a fake.
Examining the screenshot, we immediately notice that the smartphone software is based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat distribution complete with the latest security patches updated to September 1st (of course, the system interface is always MIUI 8). Moving on to the processor and the amount of RAM (and ROM), this is where we find the most information that identifies the variant in question. In fact, this image should represent the intermediate variant (the high to be clear), as it has a processor with a clock frequency of 2,15 GHz which corresponds to the Snapdragon 820 and a quantity of RAM / ROM of 6/64 GB.
Assuming that this information is really truthful, this suggests a Pro version with truly surprising specifications, such as 8 GB of RAM. However, in our opinion this turns out to be very unlikely and, if we can have our say, we expect a quantity of RAM of 4 GB for the first two variants (standard and high) associated with 32/64 GB of internal memory and a CPU Snapdragon 820, while there will be only one Pro variant with 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage and Snapdragon 821 CPU. This is just our thought based on previous Xiaomi devices that could also be completely wrong, so we are waiting of more information on this Mi Note 2 that only Xiaomi will be able to give us near its launch date.
