Let's start with the blackheads: first the readability is not the strong point of the Google Pixel 5. What this smartphone flaws on is the maximum brightness that does not allow you to read as you would like a screen under the sun. This happens also and above all when the brightness is set to the maximum value. This also leads to one suboptimal viewing of HDR content. Unfortunately the DxOMark team found that this brightness is not even that uniform as it should. Result: the screen is brighter at the top and dimmer at the bottom.

As for the PROs, touch is accurate on every part of the display and it is smooth even while browsing or in the gallery app. The device also hardly shows no dropped frames while watching a video; also the flicker is well managed and in no way represents a problem in use. Basically: despite Google's commitment, the screen is certainly not the strong point of the device.
