After witnessing the launch of the latest flagship series Article 11, Followed by iQOO Neo7 SE and iQOO Neo7 Racing Edition in December, today the brand is making itself heard again by announcing the presentation date of the next iQOO Z7 which will be officially released on March 21 in India.
iQOO Z7 has a launch date: Dimension 920 chip and up to 12GB of RAM
Thanks to previous leaks, we already know some of the specifics of the device. Let's start with the display which will be a panel with a diagonal of 6,5 inches with Full HD + resolution and which supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Inside the display we will then find a 16 megapixel selfie camera.
As for performance, the next iQOO Z7 will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 920 5G processor. The chip is expected to be accompanied by up to 12GB of memory and up to 256GB of storage
While as regards autonomy, the device should be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery.
We also note that this is only the configuration of the iQOO Z7 for markets outside of China. According to the current competition in the Chinese market, if it is truly equipped with the Dimension 920 chip, it would be better not to release it at all, at least so Chinese media reports. This mainly because it will be better received if the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen1 processor is present inside it, so as to be able to compete on a par with competitors in its range, we are referring to the Redmi Note 12T and the Realme GT Neo5 SE, which in practice are iQOO's alternative in this price range.
Finally, as for the design of the device, from this point of view iQOO is truly exceptional. The smartphone should in fact adopt the typical design of the rear camera with a "suspended" or "cloud" effect, which is the same that we find on much more expensive high-end devices. In general a design much appreciated by users.
Now we just have to wait to find out if the device will also be launched in our market.
