Just a few hours ago we got to see an interesting prototype, or rather a patent, of one folding smartphone of Xiaomi. If until now devices of this type presented on the CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration) represented a bit of a dream for lovers of alternative design, now is the time to come to your senses from the world of dreams. The well-known leaker Digital Chat Station revealed what the design of the first foldable smartphone of the brand. And guess what? It will be identical to that shown by the above patent.
According to this leak, Xiaomi's first folding smartphone will have two screens: a small one on the front and a large one that takes the internal "wings"
Before making an overview through the image disclosed by the Chinese leaker, it is necessary to do some things clarification. First of all what is said it is not pure gold: the company could make changes in progress and therefore the real device could be different from what we see. Secondly limage they see DOES NOT REPRESENT what in reality will be Xiaomi's folding smartphone. We are sure that such information must remain hidden at least until the first months of next year. So we are led to think that the one in the image below is a sort of prototype or a simple "dummy".
Unfortunately i details that emerge from the photo are not many, but we can still understand something from the leaker's words:
“Prototypes of folding smartphones from Xiaomi and Huawei in the testing phase they all have an internal folding main screen + an external secondary screen, however the shape and details of the two screens are different. [...] It seems that the folding screen will be in vogue next year "
This is what he admitted. Consequently we cannot guarantee that the one in the photo is the real device folding of Xiaomi as we are also talking about Huawei. In any case, there are confirmations:
- the device will be equipped with a main screen in front;
- we will also have an internal screen that takes up the entire surface of the display.
Despite the little information in our possession we are confident that the choice of Lei Jun's brand for the first leaflet will be the right one.
