Meizu, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is preparing to launch its new flagship model, the Meizu 21 Pro, which promises to challenge the fiercest rivals in the Chinese market. The device, which is expected to debut by the end of February, was recently spotted on the 3C certification platform, which confirmed some of its technical features.
Meizu 21 Pro: the new flagship could arrive next month
The Meizu 21 Pro will be the successor to the Meizu 21, presented in November 2023, which stood out for being one of the first smartphones to adopt Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the first 4nm chip for mobile devices. The new model, however, will have even more advanced specifications, which will make it one of the best smartphones of 2024.
According to rumors leaked by a Chinese leakster, the new flagship will offer users up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage, compared to the 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage of the standard model. Additionally, the rear camera compartment of the phone will have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, which will guarantee high quality and versatility shots.
The 21 Pro should then arrive with one battery 5020mAh with support to 80W wired fast charging e 50W wireless, which will allow you to recharge your device in just a few minutes. The device should also run with the Android 14 operating system based on custom UI Flyme, which offers a smooth and intuitive experience.
The display size of the Meizu 21 Pro is not yet known, but it is expected to have one 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which will offer a clear and dynamic view of the contents. The leakster also claimed that the device will have a large ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen, which will guarantee high safety and practicality.
Under the hood, the Meizu 21 Pro will have the chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen3 together with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, which will ensure exceptional performance and high data transfer speed. At the moment, there is no information on the price of the device.
