Yesterday was perhaps the busiest day for Xiaomi as it presented a myriad of products: we saw the new one Mi TV Pro, the highly anticipated I 9 Pro with 5G technology, TWS Xiaomi Air 2 earphones leaked some time ago and the concept phone Alpha Mix who threw a bucket of frozen water (finally) on the smartphone sector. By the way it is curious how the presentation of this futuristic device it has been a bit of a response to the users' whining to change a bit in what is a sector that is quickly saturating and that needs new things to make the market new. But the presentation that all the xiaomists, without exception, were really waiting for was the one of the MIUI 11. The rollout on different devices starts the 27 and will continue until November but we have available, for the less patient, a beta to try it in preview.
MIUI 11 Beta available for download!
Obviously we thank as usual the team of XDA for reporting and for direct download links. Before checking if your device is supported, however, let us make some assumptions: the following builds they are Chinese and therefore are not provided with Google Play services or pre-installed Google apps, although it is possible to do it manually. Le the features so they could be slightly different from what you expect and that have been described in previous articles regarding global builds, as they are focused on the Chinese market. Finally, the available languages are probably limited to English and Chinese: to conclude, we only recommend users who are a little more expert to proceed if interested.
Below you will find the affected devices, the build on which the update is based (which goes from Android 7.1 to Android 10) and the download link for MIUI 11 beta. They are all Recovery ROM, which means you can flash it using TWRP.
