OnePlus 12 Global will launch in January 2024, a well-known leakster reveals
According to a leakster named Max Jamboor, which has a good reputation when it comes to OnePlus previews, the global launch of the OnePlus 12 will only take place in January 2024. The leakster talked about a “OnePlus 12 series,” which means there will be more than one phone. It is not yet known whether it will be a more powerful version, like the OnePlus 12 Pro, or a cheaper version, like the OnePlus 12R. There could also be a Lite version, for those looking for a more accessible smartphone.
OnePlus 12 could have some very interesting features, which would make it one of the best smartphones of 2024. Among these, the 6,82 inch screen with LTPO technology, developed by BOE, which could reach a peak brightness of 2.600 nits and a 144 Hz refresh rate. The screen would also have a QHD + resolution, for greater image clarity.
The OnePlus 12 may also have a new triple-sensor rear camera, with one sensor main 48 MP with Sony's Lytia 808 dual-layer technology, which promises better photo quality in low light conditions. The other two sensors would be a 64 MP telephoto lens with OmniVision OV64B sensor, which would allow one 3x optical zoom, it's a 48 MP wide angle, to capture more details in large scenes.
The processor of the OnePlus 12 would be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3, the most recent and powerful chipset from the American company, which supports the 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The processor would be supported by a 12 GB RAM memory and a internal memory of minimum 256 GB, expandable via microSD.
The battery of the OnePlus 12 would support the quick charge from 100 W, at least in China. There's no word yet on whether this feature will be available in other regions as well, as the OnePlus 11 had slightly less charging in the US due to the limitations of 110V outlets.
