OnePlus is about to launch its new mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus North CE 3, which will join the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite previously released. The new device will be presented on July 5th but OnePlus has already revealed some details about its main features.
OnePlus Nord CE 3: everything we know about the mid-range with Snapdragon 782G
The most important news concerns the processor that will equip the Nord CE 3: it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G, a latest generation chipset that promises to offer excellent performance and a smooth experience.
Lo Snapdragon 782G is the successor to the popular Snapdragon 778G+, which powered several mid-range smartphones in 2022. Compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 782G offers a 10% improvement in CPU speed and 15% in GPU power, thanks to its eight Kryo 670 cores and its Adreno 642L graphics card. Additionally, the chipset supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and Quick Charge 4+ fast charging.
The brand has also confirmed that the smartphone will have one AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate (probably from 6,43 inches with Full HD + resolution.
As for the other specs of the Nord CE 3, we still have to wait for the official announcement, but some leaks give us an idea of what to expect. According to rumors, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 will have a back camera from 64 MP with Sony IMX686 sensor, a front camera from 16 MP with Sony IMX471 sensor, a battery from 4500 mAh with support to 80W Warp Charge fast charging and an internal memory of 128 or 256 GB. The operating system will be Android 13 with OxygenOS customized interface.
The Nord CE 3 will position itself as a cheaper and more compact alternative to the OnePlus Nord 3 5G, which should also arrive on July 5 with a starting price of around 449 Euros. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 should cost around 350 euros and will be available in three colors: blue, black and silver.
Now we just have to wait for the official presentation to get the various confirmations.
