Redmi 13C 5G, the new economical smartphone from the sub brand of Xiaomi, is getting closer to its release. The device has in fact been spotted on several certifications in various countries, including India, Thailand and China. These certifications reveal some of the specifications and features of the Redmi 13C 5G, which promises to be an interesting proposition in the low-cost 5G phone segment.
Redmi 13C 5G: the low-cost 5G phone also certified in China
The Chinese version of the Redmi 13C got the 3C certification with the code model 23124RN87C. The certification confirms the presence of support 5G and fast charging up to 10W with an MDY-09-EK power adapter. This isn't a very fast charging speed, but it's understandable considering the affordable price of the phone.
The Indian version of the Redmi 13C has instead received the BIS certification with the code model 23124RN87I. This certification suggests that the phone's launch in India is imminent, although an official date has not yet been announced. Furthermore, there is also one Global version of the Redmi 13C 5G with the model code 23124RN87G, which appeared on IMEI database.
According to some rumors, the Redmi 13C 5G will also have a rebadged version with the name of Poco C65. Both these smartphones are expected to launch in the coming months. Furthermore, there will also be a 4G variant of the Redmi 13C with model codes 23100RN82L, 23108RN04Y and 23106RN0DA. These models are intended for the Chinese market.
As for the technical specifications, the Redmi 13C is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset, while the 4G variant and the Poco C65 could be equipped with the Helio G85 processor. Some render images show that the Redmi 13C could have a drop notch design, one main camera from 50MP and a USB Type-C port. The 4G variant of the Redmi 13C could instead have a 6,74-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
