We end the week with another official detail on the long-awaited Redmi K20, or the first and true flagship of the brand that became independent last January.
The news comes directly from the official Redmi page on the famous Chinese social network Weibo, so let's see the newly shared image to learn more.
As we can see in the image above, it depicts a small dragon coming out of the top of the smartphone. Obviously, we will not really find this mythological animal inside the device, but a camera with a pop-up mechanism that comes out automatically when you want to take a selfie.
For weeks now there has been talk of the presence of a front camera with this mechanism, but today we finally have official confirmation directly from Redmi.
There is still doubt about the resolution of this sensor, some suggest 20MP, while others give one from 32MP. In any case we will have selfies at a more than high resolution.
Moving on to the rear compartment instead, we are still waiting for official info, but several leaks indicate the presence of three rear cameras probably with the same configuration as the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. We will therefore have a main sensor from 48MP (the Sony IMX586), a secondary one from 8MP (with telephoto lens) and a last 13MP camera (with ultra wide-angle lens).
As for all the other specifications already confirmed previously by the general manager of Redmi, Lu Weibing, we have the presence of the most powerful mobile processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, an audio jack from 3.5mm to be able to connect your favorite headphones without needing to of adapters and an NFC module to make electronic payments and more.
Among the very probable hardware that has not yet been officially validated we find an AMOLED screen from 6,39 inches with Full HD + resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. Below this quality display we should then have an optical type fingerprint sensor, as on the Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9 SE and BlackShark 2, and not of the ultrasonic type as present on Samsung's latest Galaxy S10 series. The "chin" (lower edge) should also be one of the thinnest, again similar to the Mi 9 series, while the battery will be at least 4000mAh as per Redmi tradition (at least for the Note series).
Finally, we remind you that the existence of two devices is practically safe, the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro, unfortunately, we still do not know what the real differences may be. In any case, we would like to deny the rumor of a Redmi K20 with a processor different from the Snapdragon 855, as it we saw yesterday, Redmi has made official the presence of the aforementioned CPU right on the K20 (here is the incredible AnTuTu score).
