Vivo will challenge Apple with its X100 series and Dimension 9300 processor

Living is one of the leading smartphone manufacturers in the global market, known for its high-quality and innovative devices. Well, last year, Vivo launched the X90 series, which gained attention for its Dimensity 9200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processors, which offered outstanding performance and smooth user experience. However, 2023 is coming to an end and Vivo is preparing to release its new one X100 series, which promises to be even more powerful and amazing.

Vivo will challenge Apple with its X100 series and Dimension 9300 processor

According to rumors disclosed by blogger Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X100 series will debut in November, with the X100 and X100 Pro models to be unveiled first, with the X100 Pro+ due out next year. This series will be the new flagship of Vivo, which will take over the reputation and benchmark for the full year 2024. So, what are the main features that will distinguish the X100 series from other smartphones in the market?

The answer is the Dimension 9300 processor, MediaTek's new flagship chip, which will be the core of the X100 series. This processor is built on TSMC's N4P process, which ensures superior power efficiency and higher transistor density. The Dimension 9300 adopts a 4+4 core architecture, with 4 X4 super-cores and 4 A720 cores, without any low-power A520 cores.

The advantage of such an architecture is that the performance is very high. According to industry experts, the Dimension 9300 has made great progress over the previous generation and has the opportunity to directly challenge the CPU and GPU performance of the Apple A17, the processor that powers the iPhone 13. In addition, the Dimension 9300 fully supports pure 64-bit applications, saying goodbye to the 32-bit era. This means that the phone will be faster and smoother even in daily use, without any slowdown or lag.

In addition to the processor, the Vivo X100 series will also have other impressive features, such as one curved AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hza back camera from 108 MP with 10x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), a battery from 5000 mAh with quick charge from 120 W e 50W wireless charging, fingerprint sensor under the screen improved and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The Vivo X100 series will be available in different color and memory variants, with a estimated price between 5000 and 7000 yuan (between 650 and 900 euros).
