Xiaomi BioFamily Wall Mounted Fan: Crowdfunding the new air purifier
The Xiaomi BioFamily Wall Mounted Fan is a very compact wall-mounted air purifier. Its dimensions are in fact slightly higher than those of an A4 sheet, at least as regards the upper surface. Despite this, the appliance manages to purify the air at around 80 cubic meters per hour, these are enough for smaller rooms like bedrooms.
In addition to the compact dimensions, the BioFamily device is also easy to assemble. In fact, unlike the typical purification systems that must be mounted by creating relatively large holes on the wall that could therefore damage it, the Xiaomi BioFamily Wall Mounted Fan needs instead of simple holes with 82 millimeters in diameter (like those of air conditioners), much easier to be created and less intrusive.
The air purifier then uses a "micro-positive" pressure system to create an environment with a slight positive note, this allows you to push clean air into every corner of the house. The air flow also serves to eliminate all types of pollution, formaldehyde or other gases that are harmful to human health, which could enter from joints under the door or in windows. Positive pressure will not allow the entry of outside air.
As for the air purification instead, the appliance uses a H13HEPA high efficiency primary filter, this system is one of the most advanced and will produce highly clean air without creating any secondary pollution.
To the purifier functionality is then added that of the heater when the external temperatures are relatively low. In fact, the PTC system is used to heat the air that we push into the room poco which is enough not to feel the cold. In any case, we cannot expect the same results as a dedicated stove or air conditioner.
Finally, the device is smart, so it can be connected to the Mi Home application and be remotely controlled. On the application we will also be able to see the status of the filter, change the brightness of the display, the power of the air flow and the temperature.
The Xiaomi BioFamily Wall Mounted Fan is now in the crowdfunding campaign on the official Xiaomi website at the 899 Yuan figure, about 115 € at the exchange rate. We remember as always that these are prices dedicated to the Chinese market that will see price increases once they are sold by third-party stores.
