Last night, Xiaomi's official profile on the Chinese social network Weibo had released a teaser in which it said: “We did a crazy thing”, which triggered a series of speculations among users.
Xiaomi Mi 11 used to create the largest Xiaomi logo ever (video)
Well, this morning, the brand revealed what it was: bring the Xiaomi Mi 11 to the northwest area of the Gobi desert, activate the navigation system of the mobile phone and draw the biggest Mi Logo ever; as we can see in the video just above.
According to official sources, in fact, this Xiaomi logo has a total length of 77,2 km in a driving time of 2 hours, 55 minutes and 52 seconds, all to "paint" in an area of 100 square kilometers. So definitely something "crazy" as the brand had promised, even if to be honest it is not really easy to see this huge logo, if not on the smartphone app.
This publicity stunt comes immediately after the one a few days ago that led to the creation of a mechanical dragon with about 500 components that we find on board the Xiaomi Mi 11. To finalize that project it took 30 days of work. You can find out more in the dedicated post in This Page.
In any case, marketing aside, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is by itself one of the most interesting smartphones on the market. It is in fact the first device in the world with Qualcomm's new and performing Snapdragon 888 on board, it is equipped with an enhanced version of the Wi-Fi 6 standard, new generation LPDDR5 RAM, ultra-fast UFS 3.1 internal memory and support for fast charging from 55W via cable and 50W wirelessly, there's even 10W reverse wireless charging.
Other specs include a 2-inch AMOLED 6,81K flexible screen, 1500 nit peak brightness, 8291 level auto brightness, 120Hz refresh rate + 480Hz adoption rate. We also have dual Harman Kardon stereo speakers, camera main with custom made 108 MP sensor, macro telephoto lens and OIS optical image stabilization.
