The news comes directly from the East and sees, in fact, the Chinese version of the aforementioned smartphone as the protagonist, that is Redmi K20. In the last hours on the Chinese community many are signaling the arrival of theupdating. Not only they can jump for joy but we Europeans too: the rollout in China means that it will arrive here too soon.
Redmi K20 aka Xiaomi Mi 9T begins to receive Android 11 definitively and officially: beware, however, only China devices at the moment
As we all know, Redmi K20 is the Chinese and Indian name for the device that in Europe takes the name of Xiaomi Mi 9T. According to reports from the Chinese Mi Community, the rollout of the latest version of the operating system began today. This means that Android 11 is landing on the first units. At the end of the article, if you have the device with ROM China, you will find the download link.
As can be seen from the image above, the version of Android 11 has arrived for the first Redmi K20 with build number 20.10.20. Obviously, everything is based on the latest release of the custom skin MIUI 12. The news are many, we list only a few for convenience:
- bubble message display: To improve the multitaskin experience, Android 11 makes major changes including the display of bubble messages. Through floating Messenger-style bubbles, users will be able to text while performing other actions with the smartphone;
- privacy permissions: privacy is a very thorny topic and as far as possible Android 11 allows us to keep it safe through temporary authorization in the use of data. These permissions can be given for a limited period of time or only when using a specific application;
- native screen recording: a function already requested by Android 10 and which finally arrives on the current version.
