Xiaomi does not even rest on Sunday and after presenting this LCD whiteboard very interesting, the Chinese giant enlightens us, almost literally, with two new gadgets: the Xiaomi Mijia Night Light 2 and the Xiaomi Hex Bug Toy Gun. Let's go discover them together!
Xiaomi Mijia Night Light 2 and Hex Bug Toy Gun presented in China
Let's start with the Xiaomi Mijia Night Light 2, or a night light (or courtesy light). The lamp is now in crowdfunding for the price of 99 Yuan (12 €) for a set from 3, while once the campaign is over, the device will cost 49 Yuan (6 €) per piece. The first generation of the Night Light launched in the 2017 was a huge success for the competitive price (49 Yuan) and sophisticated design.
The new Mijia night light comes in the same circular design and in white color. In addition to the plastic body we also find a magnetic structure to be able to attach it to any metal surface.
The lamp turns on automatically thanks to the light sensor and the infrared sensor that can identify the presence of a person. The activation angle of this double detection system is 120 degrees, therefore very wide, it also has a detection distance of up to 7 meters. Once turned on, the light will remain active for 15 seconds at a user configurable brightness.
In general, therefore, the Xiaomi Mijia Night Light 2 sees an increase in features with the price that remains the same, therefore a victory for potential buyers.
Let's now pass to the Xiaomi Hex Bug Toy Gun, the toy gun by Xiaomi which is based on the design of the Gatling machine gun. The gun uses the VEX Robotics system, which is a standard created to bring young people closer to creating robots. This system also helps improve the man-machine relationship, to assemble robots and machines in the best possible way.
The Hex Bug Toy Gun must in fact be assembled independently by the boy or someone for him, before being able to use it. The gun can equip up to eight rubber bullets, has a rotating barrel and is powered by six AA batteries. Clicking on the trigger activates the device to fire the bullets, which then all come out very quickly with a maximum range of 6 meters.
In the product packaging we will find more of 275 components and assembly manuals. Although it may seem large in the picture, the measurements are quite modest with a length of 30 centimeters and a weight of 0,9Kg.
The Xiaomi Hex Bug Toy Gun is on sale in China at 299 Yuan, around 38 euros at current exchange rates.
