The upcoming Redmi flagship store, of which we still do not know the name, is one of the most talked and expected devices ever. A few days ago a leaked online teaser made us think that we could call that Redmi X leak has been denied by the general manager of Redmi and vice-president of Xiaomi Group, Lu Weibing.
Today, a new indiscretion seems to have surfaced online, this time it is instead the product codename, or the code name of the product that is used internally by the companies.
Raphael would be the codename of Redmi's next Flagship
What is this code name? As you could already see in the image above, the name given to the next Redmi top range would be "Raphael". So what would appear to be a common person's name without any particular meaning.
The name Raphael was caught in an image that is given as a screenshot of the information screen from the smartphone. In addition to the MIUI in 9.4.22 version that runs on the device, we also see the amount of internal memory: well 256GB and an experimental mode for GPU overclocking, which is supposed to be to overclock the GPU manually and get better performance during game sessions .

Unfortunately, as also for the other leak later denied, it is really difficult to understand if today's indiscretion is real or fabricated. We just have to wait for the official presentation to learn more.
What we already know with certainty is part of the hardware that we will find aboard Redmi's flagship, like the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, the 3,5mm audio jack to connect your own favorite headphones, an NFC module for electronic payments etc and a front camera with pop-up mechanism that will come out when requested.
As for the specifications that are not yet confirmed, the Redmi Raphael should be equipped with three rear cameras, one of which has a Sony IMX586 sensor, a telephoto one and one with an ultra wide-angle lens. Other hardware would include a battery of over 4000mAh and a fingerprint sensor under the screen with a consequent AMOLED display (although this is unlikely at the moment, see here).
The future top of the line branded Redmi will be the most economical flagship on the market, at least according to Lu Weibing, with possible presentation towards the end of May / June.
What do you think of today's indiscretion? Will Xiaomi's flagship-killer have 256GB internal memory? Let us know in the comments section below!
256gb of RAM ... it would be better to write ROM, otherwise someone gets a heart attack ..
Haha, I correct immediately 😄
