Xiaomi has just announced that the new stylish smartwatch, the Xiaomi Watch Color 2, is on the way and will be officially released at 14pm on September 00th in China.

According to the official teaser, the Watch Color 2 adopts a round dial, a flat case, a strap with 6 color options and over 200 online watch faces to choose from.
Recall that in January last year the Xiaomi Mi Watch Color was officially released, with an initial price that was 799 yuan (105 euros). Again we had a round dial, but over 110 watch faces were offered and it supported custom watch faces.
Being a second generation product and after waiting for 20 months, the Xiaomi Watch Color 2 should be updated in terms of performance and functionality.
Unfortunately the brand does not reveal any other info to us at this time but we can review the Mi Watch Color as a reference point. The smartwatch adopts 1,39 inch AMOLED high-definition round screen equipped with 6 high-precision sensors, which can more accurately identify complex sports movements, heart rate changes and lock the user's exercise trajectory. It supports the ten traditional sports modes of outdoor running, outdoor cycling, cross country skiing, mountaineering, indoor running, indoor cycling, walking, free training, pool swimming and sea swimming.
The Mi Watch Color can also perform body energy monitoring, comprehensively monitor and analyze various body data throughout the day, calculate body energy values in real time, and support 24-hour heart rate detection. it lacks sleep tracking, stress tracking, and breathing training to get insights into our physical condition.
Finally, in terms of battery life, the smartwatch can be used for 14 days in typical usage mode. In the long battery life mode, the Mi Watch Color can easily be used for 22 days.
