Yunmi Alpha 2 Pro is a new product, just out of sub-brand Yunmi, which promises even more efficient cleaning capacity. The device was announced a few days ago and today it debuted in China. Many will probably not know this brand. In fact it is with us poco known. It is a'Xiaomi satellite company which is present in the complex ecosystem of products of the Chinese giant. Let's see how this new robot sweeps everything up and why it is really innovative.
Among the Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners here is also debuting Yunmi Alpha 2 Pro: the non plus ultra of the satellite company complete with activated carbon!
Yunmi Alpha 2 Pro is really special because unlike normal robot vacuum cleaners and washes everything, it is equipped with sensors with wide detection range. Those that we usually find on the market are equipped with multiple (or even single) sensors that cover a viewing range of 120 °. This new robot instead reaches 180 ° thanks to four sensors: three in the lower part and one in the turret. But that's not all: they are able to recognize even in depth, increasing the length of action from 4 to 8 meters.
The LIDAR sensors Yunmi Alpha 2 Pro is equipped with are i instantly recognize over 150 objects and different obstacles. Furthermore, as we see in the gif above, it can change direction immediately even if faced with serious difficulties: if it has a moving obstacle in front of it, the robot stops and turns autonomously. Yunmi Alpha 2 Pro adopts the AI-Dumping 3.0 automatic dust collection system. The built-in algorithm allows the device to vacuum and go in complete autonomy to the unloading / recharging tower.
The main unit, i.e. the dust collection site and the dust bag are purified by a triple action filtering. In addition to two filters of a common nature, the main one is made with activated carbon. This means that the bag inside will contain dust but the carbon filter will go to disinfect (the company says 99%) the content. In terms of power the product is equipped with an engine that develops 4000pa. The pump in the turret that sucks up the collected dust is also very quiet and just as quiet. This has a suction power of 30pa.
The price is 3999 yuan, equivalent to 510 € at the current exchange rate. It just came out in China and we don't know when and if it will arrive in Europe. In that case we will certainly let you know.
