It had been speculated that the employees involved would be relocated to the ROG and Zenfone telephone divisions, but in reality many have been excluded.

As a result, ASUS may decide to abandon the Zenfone line and focus entirely on the series ROG. The latter would then become ASUS' main and only offering in the smartphone sector, benefiting from a part of the team previously dedicated to the Zenfone.
