ZTE launches Xiaoxian 50, the new entry-level UNISOC T760 processor

The ZTE Xiaoxian 50 has a simple yet elegant design, with one 6,52-inch drop notch screen made of LCD, with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a front 8 megapixel camera. The back is glossy plastic and houses a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, inserted in a circular module that recalls that of Huawei models. The phone also has a rear fingerprint reader and a headphone jack from 3,5 mm.

One of the most interesting features of the Xiaoxian 50 is its processor, the UNISOC T760, a chip using 6nm EUV process technology. This processor has an octa-core configuration with four A76 cores at 2GHz and four A55 cores at 1,8GHz, as well as an ARM MALI G57 GPU. The chip also supports the LPDDR4X memory and UFS3.1 flash memory, ensuring high fluidity and data transfer speed.

The Xiaoxian 50 has two memory variants: 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM or 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. The battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh and supports the 5 W charging via the USB Type-C interface. The operating system is Android 13 with the customized MiFavor UI interface.

The ZTE Xiaoxian 50 has a very competitive price: the 4+128 GB version costs 899 yuan (about 115 euros), while the 6 + 128 GB one costs 999 yuan (about 128 euros). The phone is available in two colors: blue and black. It is currently unknown if the device will also arrive in other markets outside of China.
