In fact, several owners of Redmi devices specifically have complained that the feature is gone at any moment. However, the fact that the year received is a good sign: it could mean that the Mountain View giant has decided to restore call recording permanently. Hi Angel! Unfortunately, to date, call recording is not supported even for Redmi Note 9 Pro. These are privacy issues to which the "European guarantor" has given the ok, but only to Google. Therefore, the MIUI registration is unusable. You are obliged to use Google's if available for the device.

It is not a phone problem as you can read from the article. If you buy another one you will probably have the same problem. It is a matter of European privacy regulation.

If you use the Google Phone app yes you can. In all honesty I can't give you an answer, you know? I am not using that application and am not familiar with it. You can give it a try anyway.
I purchased the Redmi Note 9 pro, which comes with Android 10 and MIUI 11. I have updated the MIUI to the current version 12 while for Android 11 it seems that at least another month is needed. Both with MIUI 11 and 12 nothing changes: there is no way to record calls, the Google Phone app even if updated (28/10/2020) does not have any recording function. No application can be used at the moment.

Hi Eugenio. Currently you can only register with the Google Phone app. There is no other way for now.

It is not an MIUI update issue per se. It is not Xiaomi who "took away" the functionality. It is very unlikely that it will come back with a MIUI update. It will be re-entered, if re-entered, through a server update. Therefore no one will arrive the notification of receipt.
