Meizu, the well-known Chinese smartphone brand, is about to launch a new series of high-end devices - the series Meizu 21. The series is expected to include two models that promise to offer exceptional performance, elegant design and advanced features. The official launch of the series is scheduled for the end of November or beginning of December in China, but fans of the brand can already pre-order the new smartphones starting from November 15th.
Meizu 21 series coming with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and ultra-thin edges
The teaser for the new series shows us that the screen also has very thin edges, with only 1.74 mm thick for the lower chin, which should give a minimalist and refined look to the device.
As for the specifications, the Meizu 21 and the Meizu 21 Pro come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, Qualcomm's most powerful, which should guarantee impressive fluidity and speed in every application and game.
We also know that the Meizu 21 battery will be 4800 mAh, for the environment, and the Pro version will have a battery with a capacity of 5020mAh. Both will support 80W fast charging via USB-C cable. The Pro version should also offer 50W wireless charging via Qi technology.
As for the internal memory, the two smartphones have two options: one capacity of 256 GB or a capacity of 512 GB. Memory RAM is instead of the LPDDR5X type and can reach up to 12 GB. There are no microSD card slots to expand the available space.
We can already imagine that the Meizu 21 will have an elegant and refined design, with a metal and glass body that harmonises well with the screen. The phone will also have a sensor under the screen for the side fingerprint, which offers greater security and convenience in accessing the device.
The Meizu 21 will be available in two colors: black and white. The price has not yet been officially announced, but it is estimated to be similar to that of the Chinese brand's previous models. The Meizu 21 Pro will instead be more expensive and more powerful than its basic rival.
