Redmi K30 Pro: release date, AnTuTu score and features

What should we call it? A beast with the price of a medium range, that's how general manager Lu Weibing described it to us a few days ago, announcing that Redmi K30 Pro it will be it smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 less expensive than ever. Clearly it will not be the least expensive among the Redmi and Xiaomi, but among most of the brands. But how is it done? What are yours features, even from the side design? But most of all how the processor behaves on a machine that we can define as "medium range" if we look at the price? Today we have an answer to all these questions.

We know the release date, AnTuTu score and unpublished features of Redmi K30 Pro

After speculating that Redmi K30 Pro will be only one rebranding di POCOPHONE F2, very interesting information came out of China about the next Redmi smartphone. If until now we were undecided whether to call it top of the range (given the processor) or medium range (given the presumed price), from today there are no more doubts: the score AnTuTu prefigures it as one of the most powerful in the world.

As we see in the video, there is a comparison between the Redmi K30 Pro and the Honor V30 Pro, smartphone with which Lu Weibing is used to making comparisons lately. There is poco to say: lo Snapdragon 865 on board the redmi scores a score of 610.296 points against Kirin 990 which totals 489.605. Note that the Redmi score almost reaches that of the Black Shark 3. We are therefore faced with a super powerful smartphone. But when will it come out? It is easy to say, given that the company has also confirmed the date.

With this very colorful poster that clearly indicates the performance of the device, the brand confirms that the expected release date is March 24th, in exactly one week, two days before the presentation of the Huawei P40 series. Obviously COVID-19 permitting. It is not clear at the moment whether an online presentation or a conference will be made, but if you follow us you will know more in the next few hours. Last point to be treated is the one concerning Features aboard the Redmi K30 Pro. Between confirmations and good news, looking at the cover image, we discover:

  • the device will have a 3.5mm jack hole for headphones (and luckily);
  • è pop-up camera confirmed which was presumed to have, although we do not know if it is double or not (probably it is single from the image);
  • the rear photographic compartment is made up of 4 "cross" sensors, put differently than Redmi Note 9 Pro;
  • curious fact: the device will mount one internal memory type UFS 3.1 that even the top of the range Xiaomi Mi 10 does not have. In addition to this you can count on one Ultra fast RAM type LPDDR5.

We hope that the fingerprint unlock works as well as the predecessor and not as bad as Samsung's

Since it will not be possible to use the face unlock, we at least hope that the fingerprint sensor is decent. The one from the predecessor is really bad, on par with all the Samsung ones I've had.
