The most subjective factor of the whole list: design. Aesthetically appreciating one smartphone rather than another is absolutely subjective, and many Chinese top-end smartphones of this 2014 have a beautiful design. In general, the company that has focused more on this factor, however, is Xiaomi, which has made the leap in quality in terms of materials, giving its new top of the range a very elegant appearance.
Surely the design in question is the result of different inspirations, but the result is really beautiful and elegant.
We are talking about the Xiaomi Mi4. The smartphone also adds to its design the possibility of replacing the back cover with covers made of precious materials such as Motorola, such as OnePlus. The result is still remarkable, and Mi4 is probably the smartest Chinese smartphone of the year.

I remember that the Xiaomi Mi4, purchased from Italy or from other international retailers, does not yet guarantee LTE connectivity in Italy, and that the version compatible with our 4G LTE will arrive towards the end of the year.

Software - OnePlus One
Software customizations are a very important issue for all manufacturers, including Chinese ones. Each of the smartphones in this list has its own version of Android, and each of these custom versions has remarkable strengths. Of all the Chinese flagship smartphones of the year, speaking of software, the choice has fallen on one of the most discussed devices ever.
We are talking about the OnePlus One. The device suffered from several problems due to the software, especially a poco some time since launch, but with some company bugfixes the problems have been solved. The smartphone software is a special version of CyanogenMod, one of the most popular Android based ROMs ever, which offers a very high level of customization.
In terms of software, the One is also always up-to-date, more than almost every other top-of-the-range Chinese smartphone, and the company has already promised the arrival of Android L within three months of official release by Google. The smartphone software is also particularly open to modding.
Among other things, many other top Chinese range ROMs have some flaws not to be underestimated. Xiaomi does not offer Google services officially, as well as Live. Oppo does not frequently update the device, which came out of Android 4.3. Of all the top Chinese range flagships, the best software is offered by OnePlus One.

Small size - Xiaomi Mi2S
The trend to equip smartphones with large display continues, and even this year none of the commercially marketed smartphones offers a diagonal display smaller than 4.5 inches. So what to do if your needs impose a smaller Android smartphone?
The choice seems to be (yet) the small, timeless Xiaomi Mi2S!
