On the MIUI 14 we were right: it will be released on December 1, 2022 and will not arrive alone. Although at the time of writing the previous article the news was unofficial, we were very sure about the release date also of Xiaomi 13. And indeed, so it is: the smartphone with the customized Android skin will be released together on the first day of the last month of the year. And today, after a long wait, we have the first official confirmations. Let's see them together.
When will Xiaomi 13 be released? The release date is confirmed: the smartphone will debut together with MIUI 14. Here are the first features
Xiaomi has released a teaser with the release date of Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, as well as the proprietary MIUI 14 interface. Also, along with the flagship smartphones, two more new products are expected to be released: SmartWatch e headphones wireless. The design of these devices has already appeared on promotional materials disclosed on Chinese social networks by the company.

As we can see from the first posters relating to the new smartphones, we are starting to know some official information. Specifically we know that:
- Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will arrive with IP68 declared support: the first digit, the number "6", means that the smartphone has a degree of total protection against the ingress of dust; the second digit, the number "8", means that the smartphone is resistant to permanent immersion in water
- the edges of smartphones will be minimal - the company itself confirms 1.61 mm thick of the BORDI on each side. This means that the devices will have a very similar design to the iPhone 14
- silhouette and thin and squared shell: let's say goodbye to round edges (both on the body and on the glass). Apparently the shell will be flat for improved ergonomics and the front panel will no longer have those curves much poco desired by users. It is also confirmed camera in the center of the screen.
