Let's talk about robots that wash and dry, completing the collection of Xiaomi smart devices in our homes. In particular today we talk about the Mijia 2C, a device released in China right at the end of June but which until now we have not seen officially in Europe and Italy. This robot was proposed as an evolution (not too advanced though) of the previous 1C model. The main improvements were in the updated sensors and the power increased by 200 Pa. But having said that, it appears that Dreame will bring it to us, with another name. This at least suggests an Italian certification.

Before we see the specs, how do we know this is the Mijia 2C? Simple, the model number STYTJ03ZHM matches this product. The robot vacuum cleaner Mijia 2C comes with several upgrades over its predecessor. It features a full coverage hexagonal side brush and a 0.1 mm ultra dense fiber main brush to thoroughly clean the corners of the house and the crevices in the floor. It is also equipped with a cloth with an antibacterial cover to make the cleaning and sanitizing process more effective. This is coated with an antibacterial agent, which can inhibit the growth of bacteria and for a long time achieve 99,9% cleanliness.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mijia 2C is updated in terms of suction power: we arrive at well 2700 Pa with 4-speed suction mode complete with a 550 ml dust container. The external container will also be present in the package. It is also equipped with a 250ml electronically controlled intelligent water tank, which can be used to wash up to 150sqm at a time.
The robot vacuum's intelligent interaction has also been improved, offering advanced map management features. The Xiaomi vacuum cleaner also adds map cleaning and editing functions, allowing the user to check the cleaning progress in real time via the Mijia app. Supports the voice control via the XiaoAI voice assistant (hopefully Alexa and Google for Europe and Italy) to simultaneously connect other smart home products to be controlled from the app.
As can be understood from the certification, the Xiaomi Mijia 2C will arrive in Italy and in Europe but we don't know when. Unfortunately we don't even know the price, but considering that the certification mentions the name of Dreamer, we can assume that the device will come out with another name.
